Senator Dino Melaye was reportedly attacked by armed men at the Gwagwalada area of Abuja, as he made his way to Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, on Thursday morning, July 26, unconfirmed sources claim.
The senator, who recently defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was scheduled to appear at the magistrate court in Lokoja.
An anonymous sources disclosed that the lawmaker was attacked by men who blocked his way in a Hilux and Sienna bus. The lawmakers’ whereabouts are reportedly unknown at the moment. More details expected…
