Recently I was banned from entering the US, says Bovi Ugboma. And adds: An embarrassing incident led to my ban.
The popular Nigerian Comedian spoke up on Tuesday (April, 26th, 2022) when answering fan questions via Instagram stories with regards to his recent travel restrictions imposed upon him by immigration officials.
Speaking to Fans - Questions & Answers in a quest of insight and clarifications on how he handled the ordeal - Mr. Ugboma maintained it was disappointing that [he] found himself embroiled within such an experience which did not reflect anything on me or my brand as some people might want you to believe.
He pointed out that he couldn't comment too much without explaining the whole situation but only reiterated how unfortunate it was to have such an episode occur for someone who is so out there and very recognizable; because let's face it...We live in Nigeria where high rate of scams are reported.
The comedian revealed that he almost got accused of theft from a London hotel.
When asked if there was any truth to the rumours about him and fellow comedian Ayo Makun having beef, Bovi only said: It's just business. Chris Rock doesn't perform at Henry Hart's shows either, retorted Bovi when queried by an inquisitive fan.
