Nnamdi Agbor, the President General of the Otulu community, who spoke with our correspondent, claimed that seven people perished there and then. The village head stated, "After the traditional wedding, our folks were returning from Awo Omamma at 7pm. "Ebubeagu agents spotted them on motorcycles and started shooting at them. "As I'm talking to you, we've found seven of our people's dead bodies. The other individual who had a minor injury has been released, leaving five people unaccounted, of which two are badly injured and hospitalized.
"This is quite regrettable. Our folks are upset. They're demonstrating. The killing had no justification. When the Ebubeagu Security team started shooting at them, they had just started riding home. Nothing like this has ever occurred. "We have informed the security personnel about the event. Obinze, the 34 Artillery Brigade command commander, and the police commissioner have both been there. The DPO is also lending a hand. I have informed the parliamentarian who is in charge of representing us about the murder.
"Chijioke Nnanna is the celebrant. Uchenna Orjiribeka, Chido Ekesinachi, and Nnamdi Ekesinachi were taken into custody. Oluebube Agbor and ThankGod Iheukwumere are the patients. Chigozie Obinwa, Ozioma, Chikere Anyadioha, Ifechi Ekesinachi, Emeka Ekesinachi, Aboy Ihegboro, and Chijindu are the names of the deceased. There are still five persons missing. Police Spokesperson Micheal Abattam verified the event and said an inquiry had started when he was called.#trending #imo state #wedding guests #gunmen
