A surprised phone call from Adeboye's wife, Bakare

 According to Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Serving Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, he nearly passed out during a phone chat with Mrs. Foluke Adeboye, the wife of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. He claims that Mrs. Adeboye called him while he was in London to ask about his health after seeing one of his sermons on television. At the Atlanta 2022: Gathering of Sons and Daughters, held on Sunday in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Bakare told the tale to his audience. The CGCC Diaspora Family Fellowship organized the three-day conference with the theme "Global Mission and Globalization: Avenues for expressing the dominion mandate." 

"I recall that Mrs. Adeboye called one day as I was driving down a London highway. She had texted me, and I believe she had also called, but I didn't know who it was," he continued. The note was signed with the initials "MGO," the abbreviation for Mummy GO, as she is affectionately known by the RCCG congregation, according to the priest. So I called and said, "Good day, I got a text from this number," Bakare continued. She responded, "Haa, don't you know me again? Who is speaking, I questioned? ", she said, adding her name. I can't use her name because of my little lips. "I nearly passed out. Ma, I didn't know it was you, I said. We were watching television when she remarked, "Well, I noticed you using a walking stick; I want to know that you are well." I noted that the sermon was illustrated. Therefore, it is clear that both they and I care about one another.
