Elizabeth Aishat Anjorin is a Nigerian actress and producer who works primarily in the Yoruba film sector. Anjorin was born in Badagry, Lagos State, a region of southern Nigeria that is primarily Yoruba. Her mother was a Muslim, but her father was a Christian. She has admitted that she and her mother were destitute growing up, that she once sold food, and that the dread of going back to being poor motivated her to achieve. She enrolled at Olabisi Onabanjo University in 2003 and became a student activist there.
