Olori Abbey is in mourning as she commemorates the Late Alaafin of Oyo for four months.

One of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi's wives, Olori Abbey, the late Alaafin of Oyo, is mourning her husband.

Lamidi Adeyemi, the Alaafin of Oyo, passed away in April at the Ado Ekiti Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital. Early on Saturday morning, the body of the senior Yoruba traditional leader was carried to Oyo, where traditional ceremonies got under way.

The late king or queen had governed for 52 years at the age of 83, making him or her the Alaafin with the longest reign. The queen, who is still grieving over his passing, paid tribute to him on Instagram.

She mentioned that Current Alhaja had been away from them for four months.

She expressed her affection for him and prayed for his soul to rest in peace.

The late monarch would always hold a special place in Queen Abbey's heart as she praised him.

Her message reads:

"You left us four months ago today. I wish you continued eternal serenity for your soul. In my heart, my husband Atanda, the lion lives, the animal that travels there is unlucky, the creature of war that is left is the father of the one that is left, and that place is where that creature is. traversing the corner. The owner is killed by the owner's part of the poor, the dog is killed by the idea of the pit, the matter is killed by the dishonest thought, the rich man is killed by the power-wielding thought. The Lord is the king's law no matter who the Atanda wields a long hand of war against. Keep resting peacefully, Omoibironke."

Olori Memunat Omowumi, one of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi's wives, also wept at the celebration of life for the king.

A video of the parade was posted by Olori Memunat.

Olori Memunat sent a mournful message on her Instagram page as she said the Alaafin farewell.

"Rest on Atanda," she wrote.

The queen, who has avoided social media since his passing, paid tribute to her late husband on her Instagram page.

A few weeks prior, Olori Memunat celebrated her birthday while sobbing, demonstrating her adoration and respect for the King.

Recalls that several of the deceased Alaafin of Oyo's queens, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, had used social media to display the new housing presents they had inherited from the late monarch after his passing in April 2022.

One of them, Queen Moji, thanked her husband, her king, and her father for the magnificent house present in a note accompanying the display of her house gift.

Although it seemed sudden to us, God is the wisest. We mourn and adore you, but God loves you more.

I hope your noble deeds will live on in my king.

May your soul find eternal peace.

Queen Opeyemi Omobola, also known as Queen Abbey, posted pictures of her new home on her Instagram page and thanked her late husband for giving her a mansion that fit the occasion.

She prayed for her late husband's soul to remain at peace. Opeyemi Omobola stated on her Instagram page that it was difficult to put into words how much the late monarch's support meant to her and her kids. She also thanked her deceased husband for all that he had done for her, including giving her the new house as a gift. See more: https://youtu.be/fp6eongvW9o
