The Etiti Edda Secondary Technical School Alumni Association reports that plans have been finalized to honor the school's current students and commemorate the institution's 40th anniversary. The ceremony, scheduled on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, will also include the awarding of honorary community members who have made contributions to the growth of the school. This was said by the chairman of the planning committee, Mr. Eta Agwu-Imo, during a news conference on Wednesday in the state capital of Abakaliki. He also said that the event would serve as a strategic homecoming for the graduates to help the institution advance in the future. He claims that Mr. Irem Ukpai, the Association's acting national president, will serve as the ceremony's moderator and reaffirm the necessity of ongoing support for the school's development. "The college will commemorate its 40th birthday, or 40th year anniversary, this September, according to the persons who are graduates of the school," he stated. We think that this will provide the former students a sense of reunion and give them a chance to come up with ideas for improving the institution. "There will be donations made to our alma institution, and at the occasion, former students and others will pledge to support the school's growth.
"The event will take place on the school grounds and will give members a chance to rekindle their friendships after almost five years." The event will also include the awarding of honorary awards to community members who have made significant contributions to improving the school. Among others, we'll honor Justice Uche Onyemenam, Attorney Iro Ukpai, Dr. Onuoha Nnachi, and Mrs. Priscilia Nnachi. Ezi-Edda village, Etiti Edda Autonomous Community, Afikpo South Local Government Area, Ebonyi State, is home to Etiti Edda Secondary Technical School.
