Actress Ireti Doyle excited as her daughter gets engaged

 

Adunni Ade, the daughter of Nollywood actress Ireti Doyle, is getting hitched. As she counts down to D-Day, the pleased mother posted the wonderful news to her fans on Instagram.

However, the bride-to-be is not the actress' actual daughter; rather, it is a former Tinseltown co-star with whom she has become friendly.

Ireti remarked how delighted she was of her development and growth while praising her.

The actress announced her latest accomplishment—becoming a doctorate degree holder—on her Instagram page.

Ireti expressed her happiness and said she had never anticipated her current success.

Ireti confessed her surprise at her new accomplishment while beaming with excitement.

She claimed that even though she had numerous plans for herself, she had not anticipated this.

"I have several goals in mind for myself. Since I have worked hard and continue to do so, I have a reasonable hope of obtaining "accolades." But I never saw THIS happening, and Mommy would have been so proud! @iscg university__ I am greatly honored...thank you! Dr. Doyle has a wonderful ring to it.

Ireti Doyle, also known as Iretiola Olusola Ayinke, was born in Nigeria's Ondo state city of Akure on May 3, 1967. She is a writer, producer, and actor from Nigeria. Before returning to Nigeria to finish her schooling, the stunning actress spent her formative years in Boston and New York City, both in the United States of America. She attended Christ's School in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, after returning to Nigeria, where she earned her West African Senior School Certificate. She continued her education at the University of Jos in Plateau State, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in theater and a Diploma in mass communication. In a career that has spanned two decades in the Nigerian entertainment industry, Doyle's credits cut across stage, television and film and print. For the first ten years, she produced and presented her own show called, Oge with Iretiola. She also anchored other several television shows in Nigeria such as Morning Ride on Silverbird Television and Nimasa This Week on Channels Television. 

In 1995, Doyle moved into acting beginning with the television series, Riddles and Hopes. Since then she has featured in several Nollywood movies and television series some of which include Across the Niger, Sitanda, Torn, The Therapist, Fifty, The Arbitration, The Wedding Party (1 and 2), Dinner, Tinsel, For Coloured Girls, and Gidi Up. She always plays the role of a house wife, mother in-law and discipline mother in movies. In 2016, she starred in the award winning Nollywood movie 'The Wedding Party' alongside with Richad Mofe Damijo (RMD), Banky W, Adesua Etomi and other top Nollywood celebrities. In 2017, she also starred in the part two of the movie

Ireti Doyle is currently married to Patrick Doyle and the marriage is blessed with six children including Abimbola Ozofor who wedded in 2014. In 2017, a source close to the celebrity couple hinted that they are no longer living together. The reports reveal that the Tinsel star has since moved into a new apartment located in the Anthony Village area of Lagos state, away from her veteran actor husband and their kids.
