When Mide Martins and her husband Afeez Owo celebrated their 17th wedding anniversary the previous year, they gave thanks to God. The couple had been the subject of multiple fidelity allegations at the time, but they had chosen to remain silent.

In a post on her Instagram page, Mide Martins and her husband were both dressed well and announced their 17-year relationship.

17 YEARS & STILL COUNTING, she wrote. We wish you a happy 17th wedding anniversary. Thank You, Lord, for This Far-Reaching Journey

Afeez Abiodun is Afeez Owo's real name. He is a well-known Yoruba actor, producer, and director who is recognized for using Iseyin, a distinctive Yoruba dialect, in his films. Afeez was born on April 12; his birth year is unknown. He is married to Mide Martins, a second well-known actress, who is the offspring of Funmi Martins, a well-known Nollywood actress who passed away on April 6, 2002, following a brief illness.

Because of his close friendship with Yemi Ayebo, Afeez acquired the moniker Owo, which means "close friend" or "near pal." He hails from Iseyin in southwest Nigeria's Oyo State. Afeez attended Faramora Secondary School in Oyo State and St. Paul Anglican School in Idiroko, both in Ogun State, for his secondary education. But in the middle of the 1980s, he moved to Lagos in search of greener pastures.

Afeez Owo's acting career began during his secondary school years when he wrote the theatrical script "Kokoro Aiye," which was well-received by his classmates and professors. Afeez was given assistance by a man by the name of Rasaq Olayiwole in order to enter the Yoruba film industry. Since then, he has been in a number of films.

Mide Funmi Martins is a talented actress, producer, director, model, philanthropist, and brand ambassador from Nigeria.

She was conceived by the late Nollywood actress Funmi Martins, who passed away in 2002 after a cardiac arrest. She is well known for her parts in the films Trust, Omo Oku Orun, Eru Eleru, and Arewa, among others. She just received a nomination for the City People's Entertainment Awards' Best Supporting Actress category.

The 12-th of April, 1979, saw the birth of Mide Funmi Martins. She was raised by her Yoruba parents and comes from the southwest of Nigeria. Funmi Martins, her mother, was a well-known actress who appeared in high-caliber Yoruba films in the 1990s. Sadly, in 2002, a heart arrest claimed her life.

Mide Funmi Martins excelled academically when she was a student. She successfully completed her secondary and postsecondary schooling.
