Chairman of the Adamawa APC has been replaced by a deputy

Due to an alleged violation of the party's constitution, the executive committee of the All Progressives Congress in Adamawa State removed Ibrahim Bilal from his position as state chairman on Monday. After Bilal was expelled, Ismaila Tadawus, the deputy chairman, was sworn in as the new leader of the party after 24 out of the party's 36 officers signed the document. The plot to depose Bilal, according to earlier social media reports, was the result of the party's recent governorship primaries in the state. Senator Aishatu Binani defeated Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the first chairman of the EFCC, for the APC's governorship ticket in the state. Ribadu has filed a lawsuit to overturn Binani's victory.
