 In Nigeria, skin bleaching has grown very common.

In 2018, 77% of Nigerian women used skin whitening products, the highest percentage in the world, according to the World Health Organization. Despite what the users claim, bleaching has potentially fatal adverse effects, including skin cancer, liver damage, and renal failure. In this episode, some users of skin bleaching treatments discussed their motivations for using the items, which ranged from increasing their self-confidence to improving their work prospects to even peer pressure. 

bleaching as now become a sudden way of life of people, when you go the street you see some people with light faces and dark body ( some will say coke and Fanta), the fair one's will now be shining like the sun and they will be having dark knuckles, some will even bleach their private part hmm what a small world you people should fear God oo, in 2017 the global skin lighting market value amounted to as $4.8 billion and it forecasted to reach some $4.9 billion by 2027, and some give excuses of using skin bleach e.g better job opportunity and some will say it makes them feel wanted specially. And a doctor once said that the use of skin whitening should be discourage and the product of skin whitening a capable of whipping off the organisms that serves as soldiers to the skin there by exposing it and leaving it unprotected and he noted that burns to the face cause by bleaching cream might be difficult to reverse please let all the cream producer to reduce the amount of chemical use in producing this creams and everyone should take note of the danger of  these product.   please do well to tell me your own opinion in the comment section.
