The prosecutor claims that the defendants frequently exaggerate the cost and weight of farm supplies before sending them to their suppliers' accounts for payment. He claimed that a recent transaction they completed was so scandalous that the complaint, Mr. Jide Obi, decided to request on behalf of the business that one of their clients give a copy of their transaction, which was utilized to trace the fraud that had been occurring. The defendants colluded with some live chicken merchants to deceive Mitchell Agro Tech Ltd. and swindle the business, according to the prosecutor. He said that the offenses were against Sections 287(7), 325, and 411 of the Lagos State Criminal Law from 2015. They were granted bail in the amount of N1 million apiece, with two sureties in the same amount, by the magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Tanimola. The sureties must have gainful employment, verifiable residential and business locations, and proof of tax payments to the Lagos State government, according to Tanimola. She set the case for mention on October 28.
