JJC Skillz declares, "Funke Akindele and I are going to be together forever."

Abdul Bello, a Nigerian rapper best known by his stage name JJC Skillz, has provided updates on his relationship with Funke Akindele, his estranged wife.

When it comes to me and my wife, we are together forever when it comes to our children and what we have produced, he remarked in a recent interview.

Recall that Nollywood actress Funke Akindele's second marriage had failed amid controversy.

Akindele wed Adeola Kehinde Oloyede on May 26, 2012. But in July 2013, the couple filed for divorce, citing their irreconcilable differences.

In May 2016, the actress found love once more and wed JJC Skillz in London.

Sadly, the marriage did not endure, and this past week JJC announced the dissolution of their seven-year union, which had given birth to two children.

He also acknowledged that there have been problems in the marriage for the previous two years.

JJC, who had three children with various women prior to his marriage to Funke Akindele, confirmed that the actress requested him to leave her home and rejected all attempts at amicable dialogue.

He claims that their marriage is now beyond saving, and while he makes the revelation, he is considering how they can easily raise their children and run their joint business.

In an interview with The Sun Newspaper, JJC revealed that their relationship was really finished. He also gave advice on marriage to young people who had not yet entered the institution.

"The breakup is permanent. God controls it. But I often tell people getting married to treat their spouses like siblings or parents. We are led to believe that in a marriage, two people become one, so let go, forget, and go on.

All attempts to get in touch with FunkeAkindele to hear her side of the story have so far failed.

Abdulrasheed Bello, better known by his stage names Skillz and JJC Skillz, was born in Kano on April 4, 1977. He is a Nigerian songwriter, rapper, record producer, and television producer.

After releasing the afrobeats anthem track We Are Africans, JJC Skillz gained popularity in Nigeria. Before the popularity of We are Africans, Skillz worked as a producer for the British hip-hop group Big Brovaz and record label. His debut album, Atide, was published in December 2002. It was an experimental work with lyrics in English and Nigerian with musical influences from hip-hop, salsa, and African music. He co-produced a television program about the Nigerian music industry with his wife, Funke Akindele.

Bello was born in Kano and immigrated to the UK at the age of 14. He grew to love and appreciate music by listening to his father's country and juju music recordings. He became interested in hip-hop music while living in the UK, and he and a friend quickly started a band. They then started performing at talent competitions. His stage name, JJC, is an abbreviation for Johnny Just Come, a word Nigerians use to designate inexperienced newcomers to a place. Co-founding Big Brovas Records and the Big Brovas Collective was Bello's first significant production endeavor. His first album with 419 squad, Atide, was published by him in 2004. Ijoya by Weird MC, Pu Yanga by Tillaman, and Morile by Buoqui are among the songs he has produced.

Additionally, he entered the African music scene and worked on Afropean (Afro-European fusion) and Afrobeats projects. He got the Nigerian entertainment award for best international performer in 2013. He founded both the 419 team and the JJC, two supergroups from Africa. In 2014, this band received the Kora All African Music Award.

Bello has three children from three different moms before he married Akindele. In 2016, he wed Funke Akindele. The couple welcomed a set of twins in 2018.
