Nkechi Blessing, a Nollywood actress, is getting ready for the anniversary of her mother's passing. Last year, Nkechi Blessing's mother passed away just five days before her birthday, devastating the actress and her family.
The single mother wrote an impassioned ode to her mother in which she described how she has been working day and night to prevent her mother from begging for food.
Nkechi Blessing claimed in a post on her Instagram page that she would have begged the entire world for assistance if doctors had asked for money to keep her mother alive.
But her mother's only symptoms were stomach aches, and then she passed away. Nkechi Blessing pondered how she would face the world with her mother while still trying to forget the tragic event.
Nkechi Blessing claimed that she had constructed a home as a surprise birthday present for her mother, but regrettably she had departed without seeing it. Nkechi Blessing has disclosed her ambitions to make it a memorable year following her passing.
The first anniversary of her mother's passing was on Friday, September 23, and Nkechi Blessing plans to throw a party in her honor today. In a homage to her, Nkechi acknowledged that she had changed during the previous year. Nkechi claimed that she begs for a miracle to occur practically every night as she sobs in hopes of returning to life.
Do I miss you, Mum? My life hasn't been the same without you for the past year. Heck yeah! If you had given me any indication that you would be leaving us so soon, I wouldn't cry nearly every night in hopes that a miracle would occur and you would return to us. Since I really believe that everything happens for a purpose, I would have pleaded with God to spare your life. We miss you every day, mommy, and the only things we have left that are still with us are your lessons and memories. Please keep keeping watch over us from wherever you are. Nkechiyere, your daughter, sends her sincere love.
Nkechi Blessing previously stated that she would be honoring her mother with a celebration of a life well lived.

Nkechi Blessing Nkechi Blessing, better known as Sunday, is a 33-year-old Nigerian actress and producer. Although she was raised in Abule Egba and Surulere, where she was born, Lagos State.
However, Nkechi Blessing's foray into acting was spurred by Kemi Korede in 2008 when she starred her in the film Bewaji. Her notable invasion continued when she appeared in Kafila Omo Ibadan in 2012.
Nkechi Blessing, who was born on February 14, 1989, is the child of well-known Abule Egba, Lagos State, restaurant owner and entrepreneur Iya Nkechi.
Nkechi Blessing is a native of Nigeria's Abia State. When she co-produced Mercy Aigbe's Omoge Lekki, her professional success was assured.
Nkechi Blessing attended Barachel Model College and Olu Abiodun Nursery and Primary School in Lagos, respectively, for her primary and secondary schooling. She received her degree in International Relations from Houdegbe North American University in the Benin Republic in addition to her Theatre Arts degree from Lagos State University.
