Blaqbonez tells Rema it's time to head back to the university.

Divine 'Rema' Ikubor, a younger colleague of Blaqbonez, a prominent Nigerian rapper, has been persuaded by Blaqbonez to enroll in school again. The ASUU ended the strike earlier this month after approximately 8 months of shutdown, and several colleges have already resumed operations.

Following the development, Blaqbonez informed Rema that while he appreciates his enthusiasm on his current music tour, education is crucial, which is why it's crucial for him to travel and finish his studies.

He wrote on Twitter: ”Hey @heisrema, love your tour energy and things but education is Key as no knowledge is lost. it’s time to get Back in Uni !! 🖤”

Recall that Rema explained in January of this year why he decided to pursue his tertiary studies at the University of Lagos.

The musician explained that the main reason is that he was mostly based in Lagos when he spoke to media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Rubbin' Minds.

Because I primarily reside here, in Lagos, he explained.

When asked how he’d manage his music career and schooling, Rema affirmed that once school resumed, he was going to figure it out.

He said, “Most decisions I’ve made in my life, I’ll not say everything has a 100% plan. Sometimes I just go for it because I believe that I can do it however it turns out.

“But sometimes I just try. If I see it doesn’t work, I just stop. But if I see it works, I move with it. But at least, I tried. That’s strength.”
