Dr. submits application to be Ooni of Ife's 8th wife

Bella Nifemi, a doctor, has publicly expressed her desire to become the eighth wife of the Ooni of Ife.

As many Nigerians may remember, the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, became well-known after going on a marriage binge.

Currently, he is married to five ladies, and on October 24th, he will wed Princess Temitope Adesegun.

A medical professional named Bella Nifemi, who is from the state of Ekiti, is currently vying for the position of eight wives.

Bella Nifemi has told the king that she will do a good job of speaking for the Ekiti people.

She penned:

"I hereby submit to be Ooni's eighth wife. I will do a good job of representing Twitter and the Ekiti community because I am also a doctor.

Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, often known as Jájá II, is the 51st and current Ooni of Ife. He was born on October 17, 1974. He is the Yoruba kingdom of Ile-traditional Ife's monarch. In 2015, he succeeded the late Oba Okunade Sijuwade, the 50th Ooni of Ife, to the throne of his forefathers.

Prince Adeyeye Enitan of Giesi, one of the four royal houses of the House of Oranmiyan, is the family name of ba jájá II's birthplace. Prince Joseph Olagbaju Adewole Ogunwusi was his paternal grandpa. His maternal grandfather was bá ráygbà (also known as Ooni Orarigba or Orasigba) jájá I, the 44th Ooni of Ife who ruled from 1878 to 1880. He is descended from ni Lajodogun through him, who is descended from Ooni Agbedegbede, who was descended from Ooni Giesi, the founder of the Giesi royal House. Lajodogun was the son of ni Lajamisan (also known as Lajemisin), who in turn was the legendary Oyo Empire's Oranmiyan's great-grandson. Ba'jájá II is descended from Odùdùwà, one of the Early kings of Ilé If, as Oranmiyan was the son or grandchild of the first Ooni of Ife, Oduduwa.

His mother gave him the name Enitan, while his grandpa gave him the name Adeyeye, which means "the crown befits the throne." It was claimed that his birth had been foreseen years before he was conceived. He is the fifth child of a seven-person family.

Ogunwusi has been a part of several well-known romances.

Adeola Aanuolouwapo Ogunwusi, his first kid, was born in May 1994 in Ibadan to him and Omolara Olatubosun, both of whom were teenagers at the time. Co-parents, they are. In an interview she gave in November 2021, Omolara stated that he was not around for their child's first few years of life. They no longer qualify as husband and wife.

Ogunwusi wed Adebukola Bombata in 2008; they divorced in 2016.

He wed Zaynab Otiti Obanor in March 2016 in the Edo State of the Benin Kingdom. 2017 saw the filing of Zaynab Otiti's divorce from Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi. In August 2017, the divorce was finally formalized.

He wed Prophetess Morenike Naomi Oluwaseyi in October 2018. Morenike Naomi announced on Instagram in December 2021 that they had been split up, but the palace quickly refuted her claim.

He wed five wives between September and October 2022, the first being Mariam Anako, an Ebira from Kogi State. Then, on September 7, 2022, Elizabeth Opeoluwa Akinmuda, a native of Ondo, became his fiancée. On October 9, 2022, he wed Tobi Phillips, a native of Okitipupa, Ondo State, to become his third wife. Then, on October 14, 2022, he wed Ashley Afolashade Adegoke, a princess of Ile-Ife, to become his fourth wife. Then, as his fifth wife, he wed Ronke Ademiluyi on October 20, 2022, another Ile-Ife Princess.
