Former Big Brother Naija 'Level Up' contestant Hermes Iyele has turned to social media to complain about how'sapa' has treated him. (Sapa is a phrase for being broke that is used in Nigeria.)
According to news sources, the reality TV personality bemoaned the high cost of living in a video posted on his page.
Hermes claims that since he left the BBNaija show, commodities have surged, and many Nigerians are aware that the cost of items never decreases when it increases.
Hermes claimed that, in contrast to his prior way of life, in which he frequented the Yaba market to buy goods, he is unable to do so now since it would garner attention.
He stated:
Omo. Since I left the BBNaija House, I haven't been drenched in exactly the same way since nobody in Nigeria knows that when things go up, they never come down. Before you go enter Yaba price some kind thing but na, blogs go carry am, bro papa day.
I've been trying to buy items ever since I got here on the 22nd, but everything is so pricey. Okay, let's go place an online order because everything is so pricey today, bro. What is going on if Sapa can't win? I need a solution, pull up, pull up, celebrity, celebrity, everything is hard.
Sapa are present everywhere, o. Simply said, prices are excessive. How are you two handling it?
