It's quite impolite. Nigerians disparage Rico Swavey's candlelight vigil by dragging BBNaija's celebrities.

Reality TV stars from Big Brother Naija have drawn criticism for their callous behavior during Rico Swavey's funeral. A candlelight memorial service was performed in memory of the late Rico Swavey. The 29-year-old died on Thursday morning, October 13th, from injuries received in a horrifying car accident. His co-star, Tobi Bakre, made the announcement of his passing. BBNaija's stars hosted a candlelight service for him after his service of songs, which took place on Wednesday, October 19. They were all wearing black in the viral video that showed them in a bar, drinking and toasting to him. "Forever Young" was playing in the background in the club. Finalist for Level Up Bella was caught smoking shisha in one of the videos that were shared online.

On her Twitter page, Dorathy had posted a video of them honoring his life.

Nigerians flocked to the comment section to rip them apart in response to the video's shock.

One Broomstone wrote, “If this was after the burial, maybe people wouldn’t be talking but it’s the candle night. A night of solemn assembly and y’all are drinking, smoking and all. For people saying there’s nothing wrong, would you mourn a young family member (God forbid) ds way?
