Mohbad provides a thorough account of the incident that took place at the home of Naira Marley.

After being criticized for beating the singer, Naira Marley labeled Mohbad a liar.

Mohbad said that he went to Naira Marley's residence to settle the dispute after a contentious discussion on the Marlian's WhatsApp group.

Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, a rapidly emerging Nigerian artist better known by his stage name Mohbad, provides a thorough account of the attack that took place at Naira Marley's home.

This comes after Naira Marley accused Mohbad of lying after the singer was accused of being assaulted.

The aspiring composer claims that the altercation began when he requested a new management in place of his existing one.

Mohbad said that he went to Naira Marley's residence to settle the dispute after a contentious discussion on the Marlian's WhatsApp group.

Unfortunately, Naira Marley and the two people who followed him ordered his beating.

He wrote:

The past two days' events have left my heart with irreparable scars, he stated. I've only ever wanted to make amazing music and use it to support my family and myself.

I believed the Marlian Family would be a fantastic fit for me as a street artist. However, recent occurrences and certain truths that have come to light put my job, health, and peace of mind at jeopardy.

Due to these problems, I shared my plan to switch managers with Naira Marley on the Marlian WhatsApp group chat. This was not well received by my present manager, Tunde (His Brother).

He immediately vented his anger in the chat and protested.

On October 4th, 2022, I went to Naira Marley's house with my Producer and my friend to have this conversation and come to a calm conclusion.

Naira, Tunde, and a few of the people who work with him, including Sid, Shuddy, and Seyi, were all present as we entered the studio. As we got going on the conversation, I realized Tunde was acting rather upset.

In the midst of our discussion, Tunde violently attacked me. Sid, Shuddy, Seyi, and several of the other boys also attacked, ridiculed, and stripped nude the guys I was with.

We barely made it out alive. Three of us had to be admitted to the hospital for treatment of the assault-related wounds.

Naira Marley was present for the entirety of the incident, and he even helped plan some of the assault by giving the boys the order to beat us up.

This was partly documented on film. Naira Marley is well aware of the details and circumstances surrounding this violent attack, thus it is rude of him to imply that I began the attack because I was intoxicated.

Although it is not the first time Naira has lied to further his own story, one can only hope that it is the last. I have faith that justice will be done shortly.
