On Friday, October 21, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II married Princess Ronke Ademiluyi. “Congratulations to our beautiful queen Aderonke Ogunwusi, you are welcome to our family”.

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II, married Princess Ronke Ademiluyi in a traditional ceremony on Thursday, October 20. As their Monarch got married a fifth time, Osun State was shut down. The traditional wedding ceremony's pictures and films were uploaded to the internet. The stunning bride was seen being formally welcomed into the palace in videos that were widely shared online as the Ooni's leaders proposed marriage to her. The Ooni was nowhere to be found, just like at his prior nuptials. The Yoruba king was represented by the royal guards, maids, palace chiefs, and employees.

Prior to the King's accession to the throne in 2015, the future fifth wife of the Ooni, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, was acquainted with him. The well-known entrepreneur with legal training from London traveled frequently between the UK and Nigeria. Ronke is the creator of the well-known AFWN & AFWL brands, which host fashion shows. When he was still a prince, the now-oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi's business was one of the key sponsors of the Princess Ronke Ademiluyi-founded "Africa Fashion Week Nigeria" venue for fashion shows. Princess Ronke is a single mother. Ronke's great-grandfather was Ooni Ademiluyi Ajagun, a prince of Ile Ife. She is also the originator of the Adire Odua and the global spokesperson for the Queen Moremi Initiative. On October 17, three days after his 48th birthday, she will wed the Ooni.
