Toolz Oniru says in honor of National Curves Day, "Bodyshaming had me rethinking my entire career."

 Tolu Oniru-Demuren, better known by his stage as Toolz, has joined the rest of the world in honoring plus-sized people nationwide on National Curves Day, which is commemorated on the second Wednesday in October. Toolz Oniru took the chance to tell her fans and followers on her verified Instagram page to stop bodyshaming plus-sized people because she has experienced it firsthand throughout her career. It appears to be National Curves Day today. It's a day to honor plus-sized men and women and a day to raise awareness about the problem of body shaming on social media.

There are several ways to participate in the celebration.  

• Wear something RED on the second Wednesday of October

• Stop body shaming. It takes a lot to feel comfortable in our own skin – there’s no room for stigma about our bodies.
