Sammie Okposo, a gospel artist and Welu Welu crooner, has passed away. A circulating rumour claims that the music producer passed away on Friday morning after collapsing. His age was 51. Okposo gained notoriety at the beginning of the year when he publicly apologized to his wife Ozioma for having an extramarital affair with a woman in the United States. The musician expressed regret for the incident, which he stated occurred in 2021, in the apology that he posted on his Instagram page.
The singer added that the change has caused him to step down from his ministerial duties until "complete rehabilitation."
