Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has recorded a diss song directed at Naira Marley and his gang, the Marlians.
Mohbad asked in the song, "Why is Naira going down?" in a veiled attack on Naira Marley.
Mohmad released Tiff a month after alleging that he was abused by his management team after requesting a manager change.
The indigenous musician, contracted to Naira Marley's Marlian Records, said he was beaten by his management team at the Marlian House (Naira Marley's home).
The musician, dressed in a white singlet, was shown with bruises on his back, neck, and hand in the seven-second video footage.
"See what they did to me at Marlian House just because I want to change my manager, who is their brother," he stated.
He clarified that he was not inebriated at the time of the occurrence, and that his management may use this as an excuse.
"I'm not high oo because that's what Dey always say just to calm everything down," he added.
"World pls help me oo I'm dying inside," the singer added.
Naira Marley portrayed the incident as a "family affair" in response to the allegation at the time.
The singer claimed that Mohbad was probably "high" (drunk) when he made the claim.
He stated,
"If Mohbad hadn't done a video on it, I wouldn't bother explaining since it's not a huge deal; it's a family matter."
"Clearly, he (Mohbad) is not in his right mind." He is clearly not in the appropriate frame of mind. Because I'm not going to touch Mohbad or let anyone else to touch Mohbad.
"I don't know how to explain it, but obviously, in the group chat, he said he wants to change his manager, probably because he (Mohbad) and his manager are having a disagreement, but the manager is not my brother, and I have no idea what he (Mohbad) is probably saying." However, he is plainly high.
"However, once he's back in his right mind, he'll explain himself and apologize as usual."
"Mohbad has a history of being intoxicated, which impacts his emotions and actions," Naira Marley said on his Twitter profile. #ImNotPerfect. All concerns, however, will be settled amicably inside the record label."
However, based on recent events, it is evident that disputes inside the record label have not been settled peacefully.
