Fans of music sensation Kizz Daniel won't soon forget his electrifying performance on Wednesday night at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Following rumors, Kizz Daniel, 28, eventually played at the World Cup on Wednesday. His hit songs "Buga" and "Cough" delighted the crowd and left them clamoring for more. Before starting the main songs scheduled for the event, Kizz Daniel opened his performance with a freestyle of a few of his older songs. The artist next sang his most recent song, "Cough," before moving on to "Buga," which had the audience cheering and joining him in the iconic Buga posture.
On Wednesday, Kizz Daniel also shared videos of his performance at the occasion on his Instagram page, thanking his fans all around the world.
He wrote: “AS A NAIJA BOY SAY THANK YOU AFRICA THANK YOU WORLD.”
Daniel Anidugbe, better known by his stage as Kizz Daniel, had previously stated his intention to sing his popular song "Buga" during the World Cup before being named one of the event's headliners. This was said by Kizz Daniel in a tweet on June 23 following the release of the music video, which became a huge smash right away. He wrote: “God I want to perform BUGA for World Cup with a mass choir help me say amen #qatar2022worldcup.”
Other artists scheduled to perform at Al Bayt Stadium include American DJ Diplo, whose performance is scheduled for today, November 22, Canadian actress, dancer, and singer Nora Fatehi, whose performance is scheduled for November 29 after Kizz Daniel, American singer-songwriter Trinidad Cardona, and award-winning DJ Calvin Harris, whose performance is scheduled for December 10.
