 Nigerians have responded on Instagram to Nollywood actor Yul Edochie's announcement of his new career as a minister. Yul Edochie surprised many earlier today when he revealed his calling as a Minister of God. The contentious actor, who has lost a lot of people's respect as a result of his second marriage, plans to enter the church. Yul Edochie revealed in a video posted to his Facebook page that he feels strongly called to enter the ministry and serve God. He said that he had been called into the ministry for a very long time, but that the time had not yet come.

The actor has now acknowledged his divine calling twice.

Yul Edochie had already disclosed that God had called him into politics. A post explaining how God was using his contentious second marriage scandal to prepare Pete Edochie's kid for the presidency was circulated online. Yul, who wasn't letting the critiques get to him, saw it as a way to get closer to his objective. He said in a post on his Instagram that God was using all of these difficulties to get him ready for the Nigerian presidency.

In defending his choice to wed a second wife, Yul claimed that critics who do not live with him and his family will not grasp the motivations behind his second marriage choice and that people do not understand that every action made has a root cause. Unexpectedly, Yul Edochie had declared his intention to not run for president in 2023. He claims that he made the choice after consulting with his All Progressives Grand Alliance, or APGA, party. After the discussions, Yul Edochie and his party realized they lacked the organization to win the presidential race, he said in a social media post.
