Please mourn and move on, parents. Do not place blame on Davido or Chioma at this time, Dotun cautions.

Dotun, a well-known media figure in Nigeria, has slammed "Perfect parents" for their condemnatory tweets following the passing of Davido's son Ifeanyi Adeleke. Dotun believes that now is not the best moment to assign responsibility for what the grieving parents ought or ought not to have done.

“How do we start a month with this. How.. Please Perfect parents, this is not the time to say what they should have done or not done right. Like can you just mourn and keep your advice for now. Are you all mad?, ” he wrote on twitter.

Dotun went even farther to denounce bloggers who are spreading false information about Davido and Chioma's son's death in order to profit from it. The father of two pleaded with people to exercise caution when writing about the tragic death of Ifeanyi Adeleke.

“Clicks over empathy. Fans over family.. Using our Fingers over using our head. I hope we all see how the world thinks now?

May God give us the wisdom to preserve our mind; bridle our excesses and bear it all on behalf of the family. We are not important. They are.”

It has been reported that Ifeanyi Adeleke, the son of well-known Nigerian artist David Adeleke and his partner Chioma Rowland, has passed away. Ayo Makun, better known by his stage name AY, an accomplished comedian, announced the news on Instagram in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. The small child, who just had his third birthday on October 20, is alleged to have perished in a pool on Monday night, per the information acquired. When Ifeanyi arrived at the Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi, he was immediately pronounced dead. Ifeanyi Adeleke, a little child, reportedly drowned in the family pool and was submerged for some time before being found and taken to the hospital.
