Teni's latest accomplishment as a brand ambassador has added another feather to her cap, as well as extra zeros to her bank account.
Globacom, a leading telecommunications and digital services provider, has extended its brand endorsement agreement with sensational singer Teniola Apata, also known as Teni, for another year.
On Tuesday, November 15, the contract extension was signed at Mike Adenuga Towers on Victoria Island in Lagos. Globacom stated that the decision to renew Teni's contract was made to reward her for her outstanding achievements and for being a true brand ambassador.
Teni stated in her remarks that she is honored to be a part of the Glo family's legacy. She expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the board and management for renewing her contract. She promised to continue working with the team to provide an amazing experience to all Globacom customers.
The company first hired Teni as a brand ambassador in 2020. She burst onto the Nigerian music scene a few years ago and has ruled the airwaves ever since with her brand of afro pop music. For the past two years, her hit single "Case" has served as a national anthem in the country.
Another single, "Uyo Meyo," has received widespread airplay not only in the country but around the world as an uplifting folk song, even for those who do not understand the language.
Her 2022 songs, "Little" and "Abeg," which were recently released, have received positive feedback.
Globacom recently signed world hurdles champion Tobi Amusan as a brand ambassador, cementing its position as Nigeria's largest corporate promoter of entertainment and sports.
