A video of veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, also known as Ogogo, chanting in Yoruba for All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate Bola Tinubu is currently going viral on social media.
In the video, we see Taiwo Hassan chanting in Yoruba for Bola Ahmed Tinubu's victory, an act that has elicited mixed reactions from his supporters.
"I believed this man to have dignity and honor!" wrote one Tobiloba. Despite the fact that we have the right to vote for whomever we want, given the current state of the country, only those who benefit from the APC government's corrupt system will vote for them. Oba slri, mo fi olorun Oba slri, f ni gbogbo wan ma see."
"It's not about poverty," one Timothy wrote. Tinubu has aided many of these Yoruba celebrities. So I think they are just trying to be loyal."
"Honestly, I am not even bothered by their choice of candidate," one lady wrote. After all, it is an individual choice. We cannot all support the same person. I don't care because we all know why the support is there. Whoever rates them will be disappointed. Despite the fact that, despite the fact that!!! What the hell is this???? How do they feel seeing the nonsense they're posting? Aren't they supposed to be artistic and creative? One went nkd for the beach, and now this sorry excuse of ew. 'I mean the midnight poplar,' he says. Father, , ṣe ẹ wa ok bayii????”
This comes just weeks after his colleague, Olaiya Igwe, went naked on the beach to support presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In an interview with TVC's 'Your View' host, Morayo Brown, he revealed that he was spiritually commanded to do it.
According to him, a voice spoke to him while he was sleeping and told him to go naked and pray for Asiwaju to prove his love for him.
"I was told to get up and do it spiritually. Almighty God has given me the gift of revelation.
Sometimes I see ahead of time what God has in store for me.
I was sleeping that day when a voice said to me, "Please stand up! You mentioned that you adore Asiwaju and that he has been assisting you, and I agreed.
"The voice told me to get up and go do it," he explained.
