Nancy Isime, a Nollywood actress and media personality, has expressed her delight at being able to fulfill her dream of purchasing a home for her father.
The actress, who turned 31 days ago, took to Instagram to announce her Christmas present to her family. Nancy Isime revealed that she purchased a six-bedroom apartment for her father.
According to the talented actress, this has been one of her greatest dreams, and she is thrilled to see it come true.
"One of my biggest dreams came true yesterday.
It warmed my heart to welcome my Daddy and family into their fully finished, finished, furnished 6 bedroom home.
The term "independent" refers to a person who does not work for the government.
We also had a housewarming party with neighbors, friends, and family, which also served as part 2 of my 31st birthday celebration.
I couldn't stop grinning as I watched everyone congratulate my father with hugs and cheers. When I asked how he was feeling, he replied,
"This has added many more years to my life" amongst many other heartwarming words.
This is also a way for me to thank my father for allowing his 17-year-old daughter to leave home on a daily basis to pursue her dreams of becoming a fully independent woman.
At 19, I told him I was ready to live on my own and even if he had fears, he let me do me with trust that I won't bring shame to the family.
13 years later, I'm happy and have made this day a reality, and I couldn't be happier.
I debated posting this for a while, but I'm followed by many young girls/people who can relate to my story so much and are probably at a point in their lives where they're wondering if all their hard work will pay off.
Listen to me, it will. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen. Focus on your dreams, put in the effort, and take care of yourself while attempting to care for others. You are not required to arrive on time. Take one step at a time and don't try to do anything big. Do what you can, be a genuine good person who wants to see good happen for others as much as they want to see good happen for themselves, avoid negativity, and most importantly, let God do God!
