Simi Kosoko, a popular songstress, recently shared a cute video of herself and her daughter, Adejare Kosoko, and fans couldn't stop gushing.

Remember that in 2020, a pregnant Simi released the single 'Duduke' for her daughter, which became a hit. Fans are still in awe of the toddler's growth two years later.

Simi's lookalike daughter leaned on her chest Deja as they used a funny filter while singing along to Meghan Trainor's song, 'Made You Look,' and shared the adorable mother and daughter moment on TikTok.

Simisola Bolatito Kosoko Listen (née Ogunleye; born April 19, 1988) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress better known by her stage name Simi. She began her career as a gospel singer, releasing her debut studio album, Ogaju, in 2008. In 2022, she also appeared as one of the top judges on Season 7 of Nigerian Idol. She rose to prominence in 2014 after releasing "Tiff," which was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015. Simi signed a record deal with X3M Music in 2014, but she left the label in May 2019 when her contract expired. Simisola, her second studio album, was released on September 8, 2017. Her third studio album, Omo Charlie Champagne, Vol. 1, was released on April 19, 2019, to coincide with her thirty-first birthday. In June 2019, she launched her record label, Studio Brat.

Simi was born on April 19, 1988, as the last of four children in Ojuelegba, a suburb of Surulere, Lagos State. In an interview with Juliet Ebirim of Vanguard newspaper, Simi revealed that her parents separated when she was 9 years old. She also admitted that she was raised as a tomboy.

Simi went to Stars International College in Ikorodu, Lagos State, for secondary school. She attended Covenant University and majored in mass communication.

Simi grew up dancing and singing in her local church choir. She wrote her first song when she was ten years old. Her professional music career started in 2008 following the release of her debut studio album Ogaju, which consisted of a variety of songs such as "Iya Temi" and "Ara Ile".
