Big Bird, an Afrobeat musician, has spoken about his upbringing.

Seun, the youngest son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has revealed what his father taught him when he was younger.

Seun claims that his father taught him how to frown when he was a child.

Big bird explained that his father suggested the lessons because he thought life required frowns, but he always smiled.

The 39-year-old saxophonist praised his legendary father, saying he eventually mastered the act of frowning to the point where no one could resist his eyes when he was doing it.

He stated:

Interesting fact. My father used to teach me how to frown. He said I was always smiling when life called for frowning. Abami. You're far too demanding.

Nobody can look at me when I'm frowning.
