Segun Arinze, a veteran actor, described late gospel singer Sammie Okposo as a phoenix.

He recalled his memorable encounter with the singer while speaking about the deceased at his night of tribute on Tuesday night. According to Segun Arinze, there was never a dull moment with Sammie.

Speaking highly of him, he compared Sammie to a Phoenix rising from the ashes. Sammie, he said, was always rising from the ashes like a Phoenix.

"With Sammie, there was never a dull moment. Sammie has risen like a Phoenix. Time and again, rise from the ashes like a Phoenix".

Recalls veteran actor Richard Mofe Damijo recounting his final moments with Sammie Okposo after his untimely death.

Actor Richard Mofe Damijo revealed in a video of their last moment together in the United States a month ago that they spent two weeks together fellowshipping as Men.

According to Richard Mofe Damijo, they drank, dined, and made plans for the new year.

"This happened exactly one month ago in the United States. We spent two weeks together as men and fellowshipped. We ate, drank, and teased.
