Obi Cubana Reacts After a Man Offers His Wife as Collateral for a Business Proposal

 










Obinna Iyiegbu, better known as Obi Cubana, a billionaire businessman, has reacted after an unidentified man offered to lend him money using his wife as collateral.

In desperate need of money, the man (unknown) took to the streets of Lagos to seek a loan to build his laundry business, and then offered top Nigerian personalities his wife in exchange.

The man, holding a placard that read:

You are welcome to use my wife as collateral. I require a loan of $2.8 million to launch an innovative mobile laundry/cleaning business. It is unique in Nigeria. I will hire 20 of the people you suggest. You can invest in the company as well.

Stunned by the action, Obi Cubana questioned whether the man was serious about the deal or bluffing via his Instagram story.

"Is he real, guys?" he inquired. ”

Obinna "Obi" Iyiegbu (born 12 April 1975) is a Nigerian entrepreneur and businessman who is the chairman of the Cubana Group. Iyiegbu was born in Anambra on April 12, 1975, to Ezinne Iyiegbu. He is from Oba in Anambra State's Idemili South Local Government Area.

His primary education was at Central Primary School, and his secondary education was at Dennis Memorial Grammar School. Following his secondary education, he attended the University of Nigeria Nsukka, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.

Iyiegbu's entrepreneurial career began in 2006, when he opened the Ibiza Club in Abuja. In 2009, he opened the Cubana hospitality club in Owerri, Imo State.
