Giving money to your affluent parents is not a blessing, according to famed Nigerian OAP Daddy Freeze.
The "free the sheeple pioneer" claims that he has never given his mother money because she is incredibly affluent.
His mother drove him to a politician's residence when he was younger to return the money he had left with her personal aide.
Freeze went on to say that the Nigerians who don't comprehend his position are people who have made money their "god" and poverty their "sibling."
There is no blessing in giving your rich parents money. When you donate to the impoverished, you are blessed. If your parents are in financial difficulty, you are rewarded when you help them.
Ifedayo Olarinde, also known as Daddy Freeze, is a Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster and radio talk show host.
Ifedayo Olarinde was born to a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He spent much of his childhood in Ibadan, Oyo State, where he attended the International School, and he graduated from the University of Ibadan with a degree in Sociology. He is from Oyan Town in Osun State's Odo Otin local government area.
Freeze began his radio career in 1996 with the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), Ibadan, as a journalist on The World Chart Show, then joined Cool FM in 2001, where he worked in radio presenting, television, and general entertainment. He worked as a senior broadcaster for Cool FM. Lagos.
He also serves as an event host. In Nigeria, Ghana, and the United Kingdom, he has presented a variety of music events, comedy shows, and Nollywood premieres. He is the driving force behind the #FreeTheSheeple movement.
Daddy Freeze founded the Free Nation Online Church in 2017, where he pastors Sunday and midweek services.
Freeze announced his departure from Cool FM, where he had worked for almost 20 years, in 2020.
