"I warned my mother about Baba Ijesha's case, but she didn't listen." - Iyabo Ojo's daughter reveals

 

Priscilla Ojo, daughter of actress Iyabo Ojo, has stated how ashamed she felt after her mother spoke live on social media regarding Baba Ijesha's case in 2021, as well as when she saw her mother on the "Real Housewives of Lagos" reality show.

Priscilla Ojo revealed in a recent interview with Stephanie Coker on her "Me, Her, and Everything Else" podcast that she felt awful when her mother fought nasty on public television.

She stated;

“Yeah! I guess it was when she got into a fight and was like [shouting], I'm accustomed to that, but I was like mummy, don't let people see this. Oh my gosh. Because when she gets upset, you could think she literally despises you, but that's just how she expresses herself. So I'm like, mum, this is a family affair, don't put it out there. So when it was out there, I was like "oh my gosh". But, you know, everyone has their own opinion.

"You know that whole incident with Baba Ijesha and everything that, I told my mother,'mum, don't go live,'" she stated. "Oh, it's fine," she said. She locked the room when I left. "Mum!" I exclaimed. When I called her, she said, "Don't contact me," and she banned my number. Because I'm the calm sort that dislikes social media turmoil, I told her not to do it. But I believe she was fighting for the right reason."

In December, Priscilla named 45 reasons why she adores her mother.

She commended her mother for being beautiful, brilliant, powerful, sacrificial, real, and many other traits.
