Nigeria will continue to generate a JAPA generation, according to AY Makun.

Ayo Makun, an award-winning comedian, actor, and producer, has spoken out against the Japa syndrome among Netizens and how politics still has an impact on it.

Ay expressed his opinion on Twitter, saying that crooked politicians who steal money when elected to office and have nothing to show for it at the end of their terms will keep the phenomenon of Japanese expats moving abroad happening in the nation.

"Nigeria will continue to create a JAPA generation, not because our land lacks milk and honey, but rather because of terrible politicians who often come to power to amass as much as they can for themselves, then look on and do nothing," he wrote.

Suliman Pooja Adebayo, a television figure, reportedly claimed that the relocation of some Nigerians known as "Japa" is shattering the cornerstone of friendship.

Pooja's claim was supported by a tale he told about a buddy who went on vacation without telling her buddies. These were the same people who had spent $100,000 on traditional attire for her wedding and had also planned an elaborate bridal shower for her.

"Japa" is undermining the basis of our friendships, Pooja tweeted. Her friends purchased 100K worth of "aso ebi" for her wedding, planned a bridal shower for her at a posh hotel in Lekki, lighted up her wedding with CNN-trending videos and images, and on Sunday they noticed her posting with her new spouse in UK photos. None of them were informed by her.

According to news reports, reality TV personality TBoss commented on the Japa movement among Netizens.

Online users who identify as "Japa-ed persons" frequently provide updates and comparisons about life in the diaspora on social media. Others offer advice on what should be done before relocating, while several use the term "Japa" to entice people to stay put.

Sharing her thoughts on the Japa syndrome that has affected the majority of Netizens, TBoss cautioned those considering Japaing that traveling abroad is not for the timid.

All your friends who have "japa-ed" and have become overseas experts and are continuously providing y'all with "Updates," she wrote. If you prefer, do not. You said, "Na" Going abroad is not for the timid.

"Africans and Nigerians are incredibly spoiled. You imagine having a "house maid" to confuse your kids or provide you with egusi and pounded yam at the conclusion of a particularly trying day?

I make an Eskimo chuckle. Before you buy that ticket or sell off your possessions, give it some thought. And prepare your finances for a jacket, gloves, shawl, boots, cap, and everything else because when a chilly air hits you, you'll yearn for the heat that once nearly melted your cheeks.
