Wumi Toriola, a popular Nollywood actress, may have quietly announced the end of her three-year marriage.
The mother of one shared a TikTok video of herself having to pick between single and married status on her Instagram page.
She eventually chose the single choice after a few minutes of alternating between the two.
remembers that throughout the Christmas season, the actress spent time with her son and Nollywood industry pals without her husband.
"We didn't do pyjamas shoot but we ate," she stated in a video of how she spent Christmas.
Wunmi Toriola was born Olawunmi Toriola in her native Nigeria on July 11, 1988. And because she was born on July 11, her astrological sign is Cancer. Wunmi was born and reared in Lagos State, but she is originally from Ogun State. She grew up with three siblings, the names of whom are unknown. However, according to rumors, she was raised by a single father when her mother died when she was little. Growing up, her parents were devout Christians who immersed their children in religious activities.
Wunmi Toriola received her elementary and high school diplomas from schools in Lagos State. She attended the prestigious University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin, after graduating from high school and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics.
She also received a diploma in Theatre Arts from "Odunfa Caucus," a Yoruba theater organization created by industry veterans such as Yinka Quadri and Taiwo Hassan, among others. And, well, she decided to take a diploma at the Academy (theatre) since she assumed she'd want to develop her acting skills.
