“The Government is showing us shege” Mr. Macaroni laments the lack of fuel.

Mr. Macaroni, a comedian and actor, has bemoaned the country's fuel shortage. Nigeria, a nation with crude oil as one of its natural resources, has continued to have difficulties in producing enough petroleum for its population to utilize appropriately. Since November 2022, a fuel shortage has ravaged Nigeria, making life even harder for its citizens every day. Mr. Macaroni bemoaned the government's complacency toward the daily struggles that have exacerbated the gridlock on the roadways and questioned why there is still a fuel shortage in the nation in 2023.

Regarding the impending general elections, Mr. Macaroni claimed that the government is demonstrating to its population shege (a phrase for harsh and terrible circumstances) and that the same government is running for reelection on the same platform.

He wrote: “Nigerians definitely do not deserve this hardship and suffering. Why are we still having fuel scarcity in 2023?? This is why we all must vote!!! Politicians will only do better when they see that the people have the power to elect them and throw them out of office!!”.

“This Government is showing us Shege and still campaigning to show us more Shege. Are you people not tired of seeing Shege?

Mr. Macaroni, a human rights advocate, once denounced Nigerian police officers for mistreating residents. Macaroni, who is famed for the slang term "freaky freaky," vented on his Twitter page about the government's ongoing mistreatment of its population. He mentioned the internet and offline presence of the Nigerian police. He cautioned them to proceed carefully and emphasized that the locals are not their enemy.
