Creator of skits Chukwuemeka Emmanuel Ejekwu, also known as Sabinus, responded to a video that went viral showing Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate, raising his hands as the national anthem was being performed.
Remember how Tinubu once more set tongues wagging during the APC presidential gathering in Rivers State when he was spotted raising his hands in the air right after the call for the national anthem to be sung?
Before he lowered his hands, former governor Adams Oshiomhole had to give him a gentle nudge.
However, the film became popular and generated discussion on social media.
In response, Sabinus expressed dissatisfaction with the sort of candidate being fronted to be the next president of Nigeria on his Instagram page.
He stated:
"A presidential candidate doesn't know how to stand properly when the national anthem of the nation he will head is sung? It says a lot. Let's continue to play with our destiny. Most of the children of the people he was on stage with were studying and living overseas. Very pitiful!"
