 Nollywood actress Ruth Eze has described how Ebelle Okaro, a senior colleague, changed her life by giving her guidance. Ruth Eze recalled how Ebelle persuaded her to move from Lagos to the East in order to advance her profession during a celebration of the veteran's birthday. She claims that five years ago, while Ruth Eze was on the set of a movie at her home, Okaro gave her the advice to go to the East because she thought Ruth's career would flourish there more successfully. She admitted that she was moved by everything Okaro said to her that day. Ruth Eze moved to the East after paying attention to her advice, and she now believes that was the best move she has ever done.

Ruth said that Ebelle Okaro was the sole reason why God had blessed her with every desire of hers. The movie star announced this as she barged onto Ebelle Okaro's set to surprise her with a birthday frame, cash, and other gifts. The experienced actress broke down in tears at the kind act because she said she hadn't touched money in a month.
