Peter Obi receives accolades from comedian AY despite the loss of the presidential election

 In a moving tribute, comedian AY praises Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and the Labour Party's candidate for president in the recently held election, for his unrelenting dedication to establishing a better Nigeria. AY recently complimented Peter Obi for his bravery, work ethic, and ambition in a social media post, despite the fact that Obi was defeated by Tinubu in the 2023 presidential race. AY also expressed his pleasure in Peter Obi's intentions for the nation's future.

From the very day you honoured my open invitation to speak with Nigerians concerning the 2023 elections, I became proud of you and, what you represent, he wrote.

AY continued by reassuring Obi of his unwavering support no matter what lay ahead and encouraging him to be loyal to his sincere aspirations for the nation.

He penned: Till this very minute, you still make a lot of people feel so proud of your courage, handwork, ambition, and plans for a better Nigeria. Continue to be honest with your genuine intentions for our country, Nigeria . No matter what you do in your life. Just know that i will always be supporting you.

Recall that AY Makun asked Nigerian youngsters to question the direction their PVCs will take them in order to encourage them to become more politically aware.

The satirist tweeted:

“Knowing that we have 70,473,990 under the age of 49 years out of the 93,469,008 total registered voters for the 2023 presidential election, with a percentage of about 75%, it is clear that the youth cannot be disregarded this time. So where does your PVC direct you?”

The comedian has never concealed his wish for Peter obi to be elected president in 2023. But in the recently-concluded election, the best candidate prevailed.
