On Instagram, Mandy Kiss humiliated Funmi Awelewa, her godmother in Nollywood. The Yoruba actress went on Instagram live and called the other actress a snake. Funmi allegedly enjoyed disparaging Mandy Kiss in front of others while acting as though she was in love with her when she wasn't. Mandy told the actress to leave her alone while viciously cursing her, asking what the actress had ever done for her.

“Did Aunty Funmi give me money. Did I beg clothes or this from you? Do you want to be unfortunate? I respect you, yet you will be badmouthing behind my back. What did you do for me? You did something bad to me. Funmi Awelewa leave me alone, stop badmouthing me”.

Funmi Awelewa responded by posting lovely images of herself dressed in traditional Yoruba clothing on her Instagram profile, Funmi offered love and light to her followers since she is unconcerned by her curses.
