 David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, has disclosed his worst setback. Davido admitted in an interview with Anas Bukhash that his handling of his disagreement with Chioma before to their marriage has left him feeling disappointed in only himself. As his wife is a wonderful person, the father of three children acknowledged that he could have done better. He is fortunate that he was able to mend it, as a result of which they are now wed. "She is a fantastic person, so when we had our little disagreement, I felt like I could have done better. I believe it was the only mistake I made, but I corrected it.

Davido described how he met his wife, Chioma Rowland, while still in school in a prior interview. Recall that Chioma studied Economics and Davido studied Music while the two were students at Babcock University. Davido finally revealed how he 'toasted' his future wife, Chioma Rowland, in an interview with YouTuber and vlogger Tayo Aina. He claimed that despite his celebrity reputation, he had pursued her in his first year at the university and she had rejected him. Davido described how he tried to reach Chioma by calling her, but she refused. Later, they met in Lagos, where things got heated.

In a different interview, Davido discussed his relationship with Chioma as a married man. According to the artist, he has known Chioma for 20 years, ever since they first met in college. He said that choosing to wed his wife was the best choice he had ever made. He revealed further, saying that because they shared a childhood, Chioma and he had become accustomed to one another. He stated that they are a fantastic combination because they both comprehend one another.
